Pink Frosting started back in 2005, with a dream of an I.T. analyst, to open her own cake shop in Adelaide. How did this dream become a reality?
Well...whilst working full-time in the I.T. industry, Dianne started catering corporate morning/afternoon teas, birthday parties and functions for her friends. All her cakes were made from her home kitchen.
In 2007 Dianne began supplying cafes around Adelaide with her cupcakes and gluten-free Belgian chocolate brownies. Orders for cupcakes and brownies continued to rise, so Dianne decided to go part-time with I.T. and give her dream a crack. By the start of 2008 it was time to make a decision, I.T. or the cake shop.
So Dianne resigned from her office job and opened her first "Pink Frosting" store in Toorak Gardens, South Australia. And here we are!
